SEMIYA UPMA( SEVAI UPMA)

INGREDIENTS:

Semiya- 1 cup
Oil- 5 tbsp
Urad dal- 1 tbsp
Channa dal- 1 tbsp
Cumin seeds- 1/2 tbsp
Mustard seeds- 1/2 tbsp
Green Chillies- 4
Vegetables of choice

Procedure:
  Place a kadai o stove. Add oil and add cumin seeds, mustard seeds, urad dal and channa dal.Fry until it starts becoming red. Add green chillies fry for a while. Now add  chopped vegetables like potato, carrot, sweet corn, green peas, beans etc. In this post I added green peas and carrot. Add semiya and fry for 3-4 min. Now add water and cook untill semiya becomes soft and all water gets dry. Please note that for cup of semiya one cup of water is required. Once the semiya is cooked you upma is ready to eat.
