SABUDANA KITCHIDI

INGREDIENTS

Sabudana- 1 cup
Ground nuts- 1/2 cup
Cumin seeds- 1 tbsp
Mustard seeds- 1 tbsp
Green chillies- 3
Curry leaves- few
Salt- to taste
Potato- medium sized 1

Procedure:

     Soak sabudana in water for 4-5 hrs and keep aside. Boil potato partially and peel off the skin and make it into pieces. Dry roast the groundnuts and powder them in mixer grinder. Note that it should not be powdered finely. Now place a kadai on the stove and add oil. And the add cumin seeds, mustard seeds, finely chopped green chillies and curry leaves. Let them fry for a while. Now add potato and fry them untill they are golden brown. Then add soaked sabudana and fry them untill all sabudana become transperent in color. Now add groundnut powder.And serve hot with fresh lemon.Note that each sabudana should be coated with ground nut powder. You can add groundnut powder according to your taste.
