DOSA ( KAARAM DOSA)

INGREDIENTS

Urad dal- 1 cup
Boiled rice- 4 cups
Rice- 2 cups
Fenugreek seeds- 1/4  tbsp
Oil- for frying dosa
For kaaram
Onion- 1 large size
Red chillies- 10
Salt- for taste
Cumin seeds- 1/4 tbsp

Procedure:

Soak urad dal , boiled rice, rice and fenugreek seeds over night (6-8 hrs) and grind it to past in the morning. Leave it for 6 hrs after grinding. Now grind the ingredients under the subtitle' for kaaram' to form paste.
Now heat a tawa apply some oil and next add little water so that tawa will be ready to  dosa. Now take the dosa batter and pour a thin dosa. After a minute mix kaaram with little water and apply on the top of the dosa. Let it fry untill it is golden brown. This dosa no need to fry on the other side.Take dosa from tawa and serve hot with Coconut chutney and potato curry.Very tasty and famous Nellore kaaram dosa is ready.Pls note that Oil should be applied for tawa only before you pour first dosa. No need of oil for 2nd dosa onwards. And you can also fry dosa with ghee instead of oil
which gives very good taste and flavour to dosa.
