UTAAPPAM

INGREDIENTS:

Urad dal- 1 cup
Rice- 3 cups
Salt- a pinch
Carrot- grated
Onions- chopped
Green chillies- chopped
oil- for cooking dosa

Procedure:

Soak urad dal and rice whole night and grind in the morning. Add salt and keep aside. Now take a tawa add oil and pour the grinded batter thick and spread it . On the top of the batter add grated carrot, onions and green chillies and cook on medium flame. Cook both sides untill utappam is brown in color. Remove from tawa and serve hot with coconut chutney or red cchutney.
