OATS UPMA

INGREDIENTS:

Oats- 2 cups
Water- 1.5 cups
Green peas- 1/2 cup
Carrot chopped- 1/2 cup
Jeera- 1/2 tbsp
Mustard seeds- 1/2 tbsp
Urad dal- 1/2 tbsp
Channa dal- 1/2 tbsp
Green chillies- 3 chopped
Curry leaves- few
Red chillies- 2
Oil- 2 tbsp
Salt- to taste

Procedure:

In a kadai add oil and let it heat. Now add mustard seeds, jeera, urad dal, channa dal, green chillies
, curry leaves, red chillies and fry for 2 min. Now add chopped carrot, green peas or any veggies of your choice and fry untill cooked.  Now add oats and fry for one more min and add salt and turmeric and water and mix well untill the moisture evaporates. Dont mix over as the mixture becomes paste. Try to avoid mixing with laddle or spoon. Remove kadai from flame and serve hot with lemon.
