KITCHIDI 2

Ingredients:

Rice  - 2 cups
pigeon peas- 1 cup
Carrot - 4 chopped
Green beas -1/2 cup chopped
Garam masala - 2 tbsp
Oil - 1/4 cup
Mustard seeds - 2 tbsp
Green chillies - 4 chopped
Lemon - 1 big
Salt - to taste

Procedure:

Pressure cook rice and pigeon peas(toor dal) together. And pressure cook carrot and green beans(french beans) for 2 whistles with some salt. In a kadai add oil and let it heat for a while and add mustard seeds let it pop. Then add green chillies and then add cooked carrot and green beans and fry for 2 min. Then add cooked rice,salt and garam masala and mix well. Switch off the flame and squeeze lime juice and serve.
